Why McCloud, CA?

Nestled in the shadow of majestic Mt. Shasta (14,162 elev.), lies the historic mill town of McCloud with its quaint shops, bed & breakfast inns, and art galleries. Surrounded by hundreds of miles of seldom-ridden graded dirt logging roads, the volcanic activity of the Cascade Range has created unique geological formations of rivers, forests and alpine lakes that are most readily accessed by the discerning dual sport adventurer.

The Experience

Going beyond the "run-of-the-mill" ride/camp weekend, McCloud DSA offers a more "civilized" touring adventure that isn't an all paved road ride, nor a skid plate, big air jolter, but a graded up and down hill off-road tour with just enough roughing it to know you've really been on an adventure.

Lunch at River

Beginning on Friday with a light fare meet and greet, there will be a quick review of the next day's schedule and tour. Stay in one of McCloud's B&Bs or camp - it's your choice.

Rise bright and early on Saturday, skip the grocery or convenience store because we'll provide a BBQ lunch catered in the wilderness.

Your ride begins led by McCloud DSA guides who will share their decades of local knowledge. Your day doesn't end with the ride - hors d'oeuvres with a catered gourmet dinner at a local restaurant gives every rider a chance to share their experiences.

Cycles on Dirt Road

McCloud DSA will help custom tailor the Sunday ride based on the group needs. (have to leave early? Decide to stay an extra night?) Sunday's ride starts just like Saturday's. Except, it has been designed just for you.

These tours are truly a "Dual Sport Adventure" - about 70% of ride time is graded dirt logging roads. Sound enticing? Contact us today to schedule your McCloud Adventure.
